Years ago I made a commitment towards personal evolution. I started on a path that led me from a place of weakness to one of strength. It's a never ending journey filled with fears and failure that, when faced and befriended, are followed by power and success.
Sound a little self-helpish? I thought so too. It is, however, very true. Following this path is something that has changed and empowered my entire life.
I initially thought I wanted to get into this stuff simply to get laid, and to an extent that's true. Now, looking back, I realize that ultimately what I was looking for was approval and acceptance, and apparently in my little brain I assumed that the ultimate acceptance came from attractive females...
I know now that the ultimate acceptance and approval, the only that I need, comes from one place: myself.
Once I internalized this - not just realized it but fully believed it - I began to see how much value I truly have. Once I began to recognize how much value I have (and, in turn, how much value I can bring to an interaction), I understood that I began my journey a weak boy because I didn't feel that I DESERVED to be anything more then a weak boy.
And that's how far you will get in this game and in life - as far as you feel you deserve to get. This is key.
